Situation.

Vella was seeing stagnant or very little growth month over month (MOM) for organic traffic and keywords. They felt like they were producing quality content but they were not seeing the expected boost in their organic rankings.

The confusion was palatable. Vella was creating content that they thought their audience would love, but getting the content into the hands of that audience was more difficult than they imagined. Every month they would create new and exciting content but their rankings would remain the same.

Our Approach.

We implemented a complete SEO, AEO, GEO overhaul to their content strategy. We started by cleaning up their existing efforts:

  1. Targeting Keywords In Content: We took a look at current content and made sure they were structured for keyword ranking best practices. We made sure that each piece of content was really focused on specific SEO keywords instead of broad content topics.

  2. Fixing Links: We went in and made sure there were no broken links for both internal and external urls. Anything that was broken was either fixed, redirected, or removed

  3. Back End Optimizations: Utilizing Googles Page Speed tools we made sure that all of our back end schema, code, and elements were optimized for every user interface.

Once We Cleaned, Then We Evolved. After making sure all of their existing content was up to par we created an ongoing SEO, AEO, & GEO focused content strategy that we knew would help Vella’s audience find them. We strategically narrowed in on high volume topic hub and spoke models that we believed would keep Vella’s audience interested, keep their content fresh and relevant, and we knew Googles algorithm would love.
