 Situation.

Face Reality Skincare was looking to increase its brand awareness among estheticians and people suffering from acne as more DTC and established brands were developing acne solutions and ance-safe skincare lines.

Objectives.

Brand: Increase brand awareness and authority, measured via brand lift studies.

Acquisition: Establish benchmarks for DTC ROAS, DTC CAC, and B2B CPL and work to consistently improve MoM metrics.

Our Approach.

  1. Audited both tech and media stack to quickly address the high impact low effort fixes.

  2. Analyzed the interests, psychographics, and various affinities of exciting B2B and DTC customers.

  3. Tested multiple new persons and activation offers to gather insights on new audiences.

  4. Rapidly experimented with brand messaging and creative to deliver results.

Positioning an acne-safe skincare collection in an attractive, approachable way.

We launched campaigns with sets of creatives around 3 messaging pillars:

  • Your Esthetician Will Approve

  • +90% Effective At Treating Acne

  • Acne-Safe Skincare

Within one month, we were able to know which creative and messaging pillar resonated the most within each audience and paid channel. After the one month test, we were able to lean into the leading assets to improve CTR by 72% and Conversion Rate by 33% — ultimately driving to a 400% ROAS lift for Face Reality Skincare.
